Dance to School CPD
If you’re entering this year’s dance show and would like some support, or are looking for some help and inspiration for curriculum dance delivery, this course is for you. Schools attending this CPD will be given priority entry to one of the two Dance Festivals either at Parrs Wood on 13th February or at MEA Central on 9th March. The Dance to School twilight CPD session will be delivered by Eve Murphy, a PE and dance teacher and former SSCo with over 15 years teaching experience. During this practical course staff will develop an understanding of:
Teachers will leave with a clear understanding of how to structure a dance lesson or extra-curricular session, and the confidence and knowledge to turn a short motif of actions into a scheme of work or dance performance for this year’s Manchester wide Dance Show. Payment:
Please note that this course is being delivered by Eve Murphy a Professional Dance Teacher. This course has been subsidised as part of your affiliation to the ‘Manchester School’s PE Association’, consequently the cost to candidates is only £25.
