MHA and Whalley Range HS hosted a Primary Sports Leaders Academy managed in partnership with Man Utd Foundation.

Students from 21 schools took part in the training earlier this year, returning this week to share ideas of how they’ve led sessions and increased physical activity back in their school.

The Sports Leaders have been challenged to lead an assembly, lead new sports coaching sessions and come up with ideas on how to make their school more active. In addition they are planning an activity station for a ‘Fred the Red’ festival day in the summer term.

The Sports Leaders had a great session, sharing ideas, taking part in new games and designing their ‘Fred the Red’ activity.
