An exciting new opportunity has arisen for two new Sports Programme Co-ordinators to work as part of our team to develop and deliver our vision of ‘giving young people access to better life chances, choices and skills though sport and physical activity’. We are looking for people:-
- with the experience of co-ordinating and delivering sports activities, events and competitions.
- to work independently and as part of a dedicated team, with initiative and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- to effectively communicate both orally and in writing, plus competent IT skills.
- with the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs and priorities of TeamMCR.
The post holder will be employed by TeamMCR and based at one of our partner organisations. This is a full-time fixed term funded post until August 2024, part funded by Sport England, Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the Department of Health. The Youth Sport Trust and Sport England play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the School Games programme at a local, regional and national level.
Your role will be to ensure the effective delivery of the School Games programme, TeamMCR Community schemes and other key programmes such as our Schools Holiday Programme, our Active Education Lead role and our calendar of events within Manchester’s schools and communities.
The post holder will work closely with the Partnership Development Manager and will be supported by the Programme Manager.
